Diet Plans
Once you've
decided that it is time to lose weight, your next step might be to
select a weight loss plan or diet plan that you believe will work
for you.
There are many plans which are nutritionally balanced and
reasonably simple to follow. There are also plans which are not
necessarily as nutritionally balanced, and some plans can actually
be quite complicated.
Most plans either have you restricting or eliminating certain
foods, or counting either calories or carbs. Some plans have card
decks to help you track how many servings of each type of food you.
The best and most reasonable approach is to read up on each plan,
and take your best guess at which one suits your personality, your
favorite foods, your skills in math, and your ability to organize
yourself so you can follow the plan.
- Weight Watchers
After all this time, the great granddaddy of effective weight loss plans is going stronger than ever. Weight Watchers continues to make and remake itself, staying current with nutritional goals and technology.
- Atkins Diet
From what I've been reading, there are certain types of people that can indeed benefit from following the Atkins Diet. Among those people are diabetics, because restricting carbohydrates is a requirement for maintaining good health and controlling blood sugar.
